Operating Principles

First of all, the research parameters are set (type, function, possibility of engineering, etc.)  to enable Innobook to identify all the solutions that match the customer's requirements.

For each of these solutions technical specifications, drawings, photographs and animations can be consulted.

Once the best solution has been selected, direct contact can be made via e-mail with the designer and a sample can be produced immediately.

PACK EXPERT

To define the level of resistance to vertical compression.

This program has been created by Smurfit Kappa to precisely automate the complex calculations to determine the required level of resistance for the packaging.

Operating Principles

In order to correctly evaluate the level of compression required, the system takes into account all the following physical and mechanical features of the production chain:

• product and its arrangement in the box
• packaging, its dimensions and structure
• pallet and its structure (stacked / not stacked)
• distribution cycle: shipment, storage, maintenance, temperature and humidity conditions

CAPE PACK

To optimize logistics.

This is a program starting with the dimensions of the primary packaging to identify the solutions to optimize:

• quantity and arrangement of the products to be arranged in the packaging
• arrangement of the boxes on the pallet, allowing an economical management of shipping.

PRINT BOOK

To choose the facility and the most suitable production lines.

Printbook allows a choice to be made from a database which includes all the group’s equipment, the best technology and production process for the customer’s packaging .

For each facility all available machines can be seen.

For each machine, all technical features can be displayed.

As the features of the packaging and its print are known, it is possible to identify the most suitable facilities. 
 

GRADE EXPERT

For searching out the best board composition.

This program has been developed by Smurfit Kappa to match the most appropriate board composition for vertical resistance. This function and the experience of our technical departments make it a valid instrument for optimizing compositions.
