Microflute
This is a more developed material in as much as this product provides many advantages over corrugated material made with traditional flutes:
- more suitable for printing due to the more than 310 flutes per linear meter (compared with the 170 of a typical narrow flute), which ensures more homogenous colours on the cover of the cardboard;
- greater ease of use of the forming machines due to the better bendability of the board
- great logistical advantages (40% less bulk than a typical narrow flute)
In addition, the use of compositions of dedicated paper enables the mechanical toughness of the flute to be minimized compared with traditional flutes.
